Albert Vass

Albert Vass founded Studio Vass in Los Angeles, California as a full service creative organization.  Throughout his career, Albert has been an integral part of many influential projects across the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Informed by the interrelationships among disciplines, Albert combines art and technology to design and enhance many scales of projects internationally and domestically. His notable contributions to the built environment include the undulating glass roof and tower icon for Zlote Tarasy in Warsaw, the Morongo Resort's dynamic porte cochere in Palm Springs, the Arcade at Cyberport in Hong Kong, and a variety of other commercial to residential projects.

In 2006 he left a fulfilling tenure at the Jerde Partnership to start Studio Vass to better focus the synergy between architecture and art.  During this time he continues to develop ground breaking international and local designs for projects and features inspired by both virtual and visceral creative investigations.

Unchu Vass

As the design professional with an incredible attention to quality and detail, Unchu spearheads the Studio Vass residential, retail and production arm.

Prior to her current roles, she worked at Westfield manifesting upscale retail designs for projects like Santa Anita and West County.

Using inventive design and documentation techniques, Al and Unchu helped design and realize Robert Graham’s and Anjelica Huston’s artist studio in Venice, CA.
